We are J.V. and Varsity spirit squads for Williamsburg Academy
Senior toy Pep rally will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 in the W.A. gym at 1:00 pm.
Guidelines for the Senior Toy Pep Rally state the following:
1. This is the Senior ATHLETE Toy Pep Rally.
2. Seniors may participate in this pep rally if they are currently playing a fall sport, such as:
OR
If the Senior is not playing a fall sport, they are eligible to participate in this pep rally only if:
3. The pep rally is run by the Varsity Cheerleaders. They will carry each toy out onto the floor and present it to the Senior.
J.V. Cheerleaders may help if:
-They have a sibling who is a Senior in the pep rally
-OR if they are presenting the toy to a close relative
who is a Senior, but only if the Senior's parent requests it.
Parents, siblings, other relatives, friends, boyfriends, girlfriends etc. will not participate in this pep rally. They will be spectators.
4. Other students or children will be asked to participate in the pep rally ONLY IF there is a costume that needs to be worn or a vehicle that needs to be driven or pushed (bicycle, toy jeep, etc.)
5. The Seniors' toys must be actual TOYS, not humans who they played with when they were children.
6. The written part that you turn in to be read about your child's toy should be 3/4 to one page in length. We will not play any music with these, so please do not send music to go along with the poem.
7. We recommend that you keep the toy a secret from your child if possible so that when the cheerleaders bring it out, they can all guess who it belongs to.
1. Choose a toy that has special meaning to your son or daughter.
2. Write a short poem or paragraph (no more than ¾ to 1 page).
You can include:
(If it is too long, we will shorten it for you.)
3. Put both the toy and the poem into a trash bag.
4. Clearly write your child’s name somewhere on the paper so we know who the toy belongs to.
5. Drop off the bag at the school office no later than Wednesday, October 1.
***Important: Do not send any toy (or real) guns or knives—these are not allowed
